Hello and greetings from The Honey Pies new studio headquarters. This is a cutting-edge facility. We've got everything a great studio needs: 4 microphones, a midi controller, a yappy dog, proximity to the airport and no idea what we're doing. It's not much, but it's home. It's literally at my home. It's a pisspoor attempt at a home studio, is what I'm saying. It's from here we'll record our next album, which is going to take a little longer than usual because of how big a project it is. The songs are written, we're just waiting on one last piece of equipment in the mail before we can begin. We'd like to have it out by March/April next year, but it could very well turn into our Chinese Democracy. But that was worth the wait, right?

If you're friends with us on Facebook, you may have read already that our great lead guitarist Tony Marshall has left the band, and we're sad to see him go. Our drummer Marcus is going to become our new lead guitarist. Tom's still on board.  The three of us are just going to be a studio band for a while, and we'll be looking for a new drummer when it comes time to play shows again. The change in members is obviously going to change our sound a little, and we're not going to try and fight that. The next time we play as a quartet, you can expect some new stuff and some old stuff as well. In the meantime, there'll be small acoustic sets here and there, if you're so inclined. Maybe a few videos would be in order too.

That's all for now, I hope this finds you well, Jon.
