'Hair of the Dog' video(s)

'Hair of the Dog' (censored) - youtube | vimeo | uncensored

Jon here. Hello, hello. This is our second in a string of low-budget videos we've released for 'Think of England'. We actually spent a little more on this one ($11.20) than we did on our last one ($0), so clearly we're moving up in the world. Since 'Hair of the Dog' is a punk song about sex, we figured it made sense that the video would be obscene and perverse. I'd like to think somewhere Voltaire is rolling in his grave... with laughter. Its a flickbook-style animation and it was inspired by the artist James Unsworth whose work we discovered while on tour in Sydney. There's a censored and uncensored version of the video, the latter of which we've left unlisted on youtube to prevent anyone unwillingly slumbling upon it and to extend the amount of time before it is inevitably removed, at which time we will find another home for it.

Tony and I are playing some acoustic shows here and there, but for the most part the band will be pretty quiet until June when we have our residency at the Grace Emily every Friday. We'll have more information about that soon, we may be doing something special for the shows that relates to our next album.

At least two more music videos in the making, we'll release them as they're finished. One of them is a flash-mob thing we're going to need volunteers for; we'll be sending invitations to all our Facebook friends, so if you want to get involved head over to our facebook page and become our friend. Cheerio.
